Waters Edge Hotel Torquay

New-fashioned room, functional for air. Free parking off site provided.

I've had a good stay for a holiday or longer stay. Central location of this low cost hotel was a bonus. Plus there was a lake, within 15 minutes walk or so. On the plus side, there was parking onsite.

Close to sea front

The price for a single room was good. The staff put themselves out to provide an early breakfast in order for me to fulfil my business comittments on scedule.

The bed was really squeeky.

Lovely location, right on sea front, only stayed one night in winter but would be ideal for summer stay. Good quality TV and shower worked fine for me! Cannot comment on food as stayed on room only basis.

Needs a refurb, very tatty, which is a shame as could be a beautiful hotel.

Fantastic views of the lights along the prom and out to sea. We went to sleep with the curtains open just so we could see those lights ....Room was a bit small but looked newly decorated including new fittings in bathroom. We also liked the fact that breakfast was not included, so no rush to get down to breakfast. The other two rooms booked for family were also good.

As mentioned the room was a bit small, but the plusses more than made up for this.

The location

The room was freezing cold on arrival and after adjustint hte heatin ourselves was still cold. The bed needs replacing as every movement resulted in springs creaking.

I had a fantastic room with fine sea views. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach. The space was clean and the mattresses comfortable. Great WiFi and free parking were a bonus. I appreciated the tea and coffee facilities in my room 😊

I was not impressed with the room as the rooms are very close together and the walls are very thin so everything can be heard!!! Breakfast on a Sunday is way too early and the shower was pathetic!!! Would not stay there again!!!
